Historic church building and land in Milton Keynes up for grabs with an indicative price of just £30,000
The dilapidated property, officially known as Old Mission Hall, is in the hamlet of Middle Weald, near the village of Calverton and close to Stony Stratford.
The guide costs £30,000 plus costs, the auctioneers say.
The building, believed to date from the early 20th century, is detached and constructed of brick. It retains some of the original features of the church but requires renovation.
For sale in full ownership, it stands on a generous plot of approximately 1000m² on the edge of a hamlet, overlooking the countryside.
“The building benefits from a number of window and door openings as well as a pitched slate roof with flat ground to the side and rear with a number of self-seeded saplings and fenced boundaries,” a Robinson & Hall spokesperson said.
They will be holding open houses at the end of this month and details will be released later.
There is no buyer’s premium payable on the lot, but the buyer will have to pay an administration charge of £1,200 including VAT.
