On Sunday, October 17, 2021, Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng, MP for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency worshiped with four (4) separate churches in Sefwi Bekwai.

The churches were: Pentecostal Church – Central, Christ Apostolic Church – Central, King Jesus and Agape Baptist Church.

This was part of the Thanksgiving Tour and Community Tour of the riding. In his address, the Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng expressed his appreciation and deep gratitude to God for the overwhelming approval and unprecedented victory in the 2020 general election. The faithful who campaigned and also voted for him were also not forgotten .

Obeng Boateng has vowed to ensure that voters benefit from his stewardship as an MP. However, he asked for prayers from the members. He assured them that his doors are always open to everyone for advice, requests and constructive criticism.

The various men of God exhorted him to be just and firm. They also prayed that he would be God-fearing, honest, humble among others. The lawmaker was urged to be “MP” for everyone, not just his party members.

As part of her efforts towards youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, Hon. Obeng-Boateng donated the following items to the churches: twenty (20) sewing machines, five (5) for each church and four (4) hair dryers, one (1) for each church visited. An amount of Ghc 4,000.00 was added to the package with one thousand cedis to each church.

The leaders and their members greatly appreciated the gesture.
